Farbechte Transferfolien für Textilien
Supacolour UK Ltd. X Logotex Europe GmbH & Co. KG
Stefan Gradwohl stands in front of his textile finishing machines in Waltrop. The managing director takes a close look at how the individual jerseys are finished for his major customers. Large printing machines are loaded with the jerseys by trained staff, the transfer film is applied and yet another new jersey is printed for BVB or another Bundesliga club.
After a brief inspection, he is satisfied. As always, the prints look impeccable: The motif stands out, the colors are as vibrant and natural as any jersey before it. He owes this not only to his extremely capable staff, but also to his business partner – Supacolour.

Textile finishing with the highest standards of quality and sustainability
A few years ago, Supacolour set itself the task of revolutionizing textile printing. A lot of money was invested in research and development and all the ups and downs on the way to today were overcome. Today, those responsible have arrived exactly where they wanted to be back then. Their transfer films are the ultimate in the market and are sold all over the world. Transfer films for a wide variety of textiles are produced day and night at three locations – and for customers from all over the world.
One of these is Logotex. Large-scale production is carried out here in the tranquil town of Waltrop in North Rhine-Westphalia. Bundesliga clubs, large companies and many other customers rely on the work of Stefan Gradwohl and his team. A lot is done here for every customer. Logos, player numbers and names are pressed onto jerseys, T-shirts and many other textiles with the utmost precision.
The fact that the finished product is so impressive that more and more clubs are relying on the medium-sized company from North Rhine-Westphalia is mainly due to the foils used in its factory. The foils come from the same manufacturer from Great Britain – Supacolour. Almost all of the motifs for the finishing of the textiles are created in close cooperation at the factory in England and then arrive in Waltrop – and inspire clubs, fans of soccer clubs and many companies from all over Germany. But what exactly makes this film so special?
Quality meets sustainability
One of the great advantages of Supacolour transfer films is the many color spectrums that can be covered in production. Normally, only the standard color spectrum can be used in textile printing, but not here. With Supacolour, there are over forty colors that can be displayed. The most important thing for Stefan Gradwohl, however, is something else: thanks to the new process, such as the water-based inks, which also protect the environment, the colors are one hundred percent the same for every print. This means that every customer can be offered exactly the colors that are anchored in their corporate identity.
As a result, Logotex has succeeded in attracting the customers who now order jerseys and other textiles from him. Of course, he also focuses on the sustainability of the films and the motifs printed on them. No heavy metals, no toxic chemicals: Supacolour doesn’t just talk about sustainability, it lives it. In addition to these advantages, the range of films on offer is also impressive. In addition to the normal DTFs, special compositions are offered for different yarns and materials. This means that advertising technicians who order from Supacolour always have exactly the right film for the textile.
Revolutionizing the German textile printing market
Now Supacolour and Logotex, led by Stefan Gradwohl and his team, are taking on new challenges. Despite its convincing arguments, Supacolour is still almost a blank slate in Germany. This is mainly due to the lack of a distribution network. Anyone ordering from Supacolour had to worry about imports and customs duties and was very much alone in the process of getting their own motif on the high-quality films.
This has now come to an end. The Supacolour website for the German market is an ordering platform for everyone. Small and large advertising technicians can order here and embark on the same business journey that Supacolour has already taken with Logotex. Stefan Gradwohl and Logotex take over the logistics and distribution in this collaboration: they import and deliver to all customers in Germany within 72 hours and ensure that Supacolour becomes the new standard for textile printing with films – customers deserve better prints on their textiles, Logotex and Supacolour make sure that it becomes reality.
